More Celebrating!
And why not, after the year we've all had?
Ebony: Then Mrs Mac, Mrs Emerton and Donna did hand out awards and I got the senior Art Award. Marshall got two shields and three or four medals.
Eli: Marshall got the most awards. I got one attendance award. Hattie got an award and a book prize. Then we had a big feast and used our placemats. We even had dessert.
Hattie: Tracey took pictures of us and our awards and then we went into the three to six classroom and the teachers were our waitresses. We got food and dessert and played games.
Ebony: Then we had entrée, dinner and dessert. My favourite was dessert because we had ice cream and a mini pavlova with whipped cream.
Coby: One of my favourite parts was when we had pavlova.
Eli: My favourite part of the day was when I got my first medal.
Hattie: Then Ms Mac told everyone to run the sugar off and they were yelling and running and going crazy and Issi said, “I think the sugar rush has kicked in!” or something like that.
Myrtle: Celebration Day was fun.
Kyesha: It was good!
