2021 Kinder enrolments

Please ensure sibling enrolment applications are completed as soon as possible to secure your child's Kindergarten place in 2021.

SMC parent survey

All members of the College community will soon be invited to complete a short satisfaction survey which will help us to improve performance in areas that are important to us.

The link to the parent survey will be emailed next Tuesday 28 July.

The surveys are completely anonymous and will be externally collated and analysed by an independent company so that the College can benefit from this valuable feedback.

Fresh canteen menu

The Term 3 canteen menu is here! Click on this link to view or print our menu.

In addition to the regular menu items, the canteen also offers daily specials, as well as delicious barista-made coffee and other hot beverages.

Order in person (our lovely canteen staff are always happy to see you) or via the Qkr! mobile payments app.

ICAS English registrations closing soon

There's still time for students in Year 3-6 to enter the 2020 ICAS English competition.

Registrations close this Friday 24 July, so please email Jenny Noble (Extension Program teacher) at jnoble@smc.tas.edu.au if your child is interested in participating.

This year's competition will be held online on Tuesday 25 August.

Assessments are suitable for students wishing to extend themselves academically and take up the personal challenge of competing in an international assessment.

Uniform fittings

If you would like your child to have a uniform fitting, we ask that you make an appointment by contacting the Midford Uniform Shop or st.marys@midford.com.au.

There are still restrictions in place and only three people can be in the Uniform Shop at one time. To assist with this, where possible, it would be best if only one parent and student attended fittings, to keep numbers to a minimum.

Metro bus fares

Metro Tasmania wishes to remind passengers to continue avoiding cash payments onboard and to have the correct change if they must pay cash, where possible.

A simple way to avoid cash payments is to carry a Greencard (which is currently free). Learn more here.

All Metro Tasmania services resumed fare collection and boarding from the front door from 6 July.

150 Faces of St Mary's College - special offer
