Somers Camp

Thank you to the families who have alreaady paid the fee for Somers Camp.  Could families who are yet to pay please attend to this as soon as possible.

Bridge Cafe - winter lunch special

The Bridge Cafe are including two new items to their school menu for Friday lunches during Terms 2 and 3 - Lasagne and mac 'n' cheese.

Heat up lunches

Students will be allowed to bring in a heat up lunch for this term.  A heat up lunch can only be bought in on a Wednesday.   No boiling water for lunches will be available due to safety reasons.

Smile Squad - Free Dental for students

Please start registering for free dental for your child.

The Smile Squad team from Dental Health Services Victoria are coming to Cavendish Primary School starting 13th June 2023.  Smile Squad is the Victorian Government free school dental program.  This means all students can get a free dental check-up, preventive services, and treatment at school.

How to access free dental care

Your consent is required before they can provide services. Consent is usually provided by a parent or guardian.  Sign up to Smile Squad at: https://bit.ly/smilesquadvic

Paper copies of the consent form will also be available. Please contact me if you would like one.

Do I need to attend my child’s appointment?

No, you do not need to attend your child’s appointment but if your child is anxious about going to the dentist you can attend if you would like to.  If so, an appointment time will be made.
