Principal's Notes

Dear families,

Welcome to Term 2. This term is already proving to be jam packed with events.  Please check the school calendar on the new app or this newsletter as there are many events on this term.

Welcome

We welcome Lizzie Climas to our school for term two. Lizzie is in Year 4 and goes to a school in the ACT. She will be staying with her grandmother, Essie Bastock-Lewis and will return back to the ACT at the end of the term.  We hope you enjoy your time here at Cavendish Primary School Lizzie.

This week we also welcomed back one of our past students Imogen Thomas, who is here on work experience.  Imogen is currently in Year 10 and attends Monivae College. She has been in the F/1 class helping Miss Gray this week.  Hope you enjoyed your time back at Cavendish PS.

We also welcome Mrs Suzanne Smith as our new MARC teacher for the remainder of the year. Due to staffing and scheduling changes, Mrs Frankland will now be teaching at Penshurst on a Monday.

She has graduated with a bachelors degree in Education and in Science. Caitlin is now teaching Science and Maths at the Albert Park Secondary College in Melbourne.
