The Taqwa School cross country event was held on May 20. We were fortunate to have sunny skies and great enthusiasm from many runners. Students ran a variety of distances using a loop of 500m or 1km. There were many impressive performances but Aladdien Olwan in 5/6 was well in the lead in the 3km race. Many of our students have been selected to represent the school at the Zone Cross Country at Stromlo Forest Park in Week 7. I wish them all good luck. 

Last week some of our students in Years 5 and 6 travelled to Evett Primary School for a friendly game of football.  It was great to see our students behaving with good sportsmanship and enjoying competitive matches.
