Here's what our Enrvironmental Leaders have to say...

In 2023, the Environmental Student Leaders are Alesia, Maya, Julia and Ellena and we are very excited to have the opportunity to help the environment as well making Resurrection School a safe and clean place for everyone. Our Environment and Sustainability Teacher is Mrs Magree. 

This year we are all looking forward to helping the environment and hope you are too! We want to aim high and try our hardest to keep our environment clean and tidy. During the past few weeks we have noticed that there is some rubbish lying around the playground.  We remind you that if you see rubbish we politely ask you to please pick it up and put it in the outside bin.

As Environmental Leaders we ask you to remember what items  go in the coloured bins in the classrooms: our blue bins are paper bins, red bins are landfill and yellow bins are recycling. Please ask your teacher if you are not sure. 

A good way to reduce rubbish at school is to have a wrapper free lunchbox. We hope that we can start charting this throughout the school and encourage everyone to try their best to bring a lunch box that is wrapper free. 

We also remind students to respect the plants and animals in  our beautiful school so that we can all keep enjoying the amazing nature around us.
