VET Award Winner

St Augustine’s College is proud to congratulate our Year 12 student Ayden Shepherd for winning the VET Animal Studies award at the VET Excellence Awards hosted in Moama on Tuesday 28th February, 2023.

Ayden undertook his study in VET Animal Studies online when he was in Years 10 and 11. Ayden completed his VET studies successfully over the two years, along with two Structured Workplace Learning experiences during his holiday breaks. 

VET Coordinator, Mrs Langley, nominated Ayden for the award. As part of the process, Ayden submitted a resume and participated in an interview with a panel of three Echuca business owners at BRIT in Echuca.

Students interested in pursuing medicine and dentistry need to sit the UCAT test in July/August 2023.
