Father’s Day is fast approaching along with our many fun activities we have planned.

Thank you to all of you who have returned your RSVP slip for the BBQ breakfast, it just helps give us an idea for catering purposes.

We look forward to seeing all the Dad’s from 8.00am Friday 2nd September for a delicious breakfast roll.

We will also be holding our Father’s Day stall on Friday 2nd September.

This year we will be set up in the portables and children will be called up by learning spaces to come and choose a gift to show their love and appreciation for the important men in their lives.

Gift’s will range from $1.00-$5.00.

Siblings will have the opportunity to purchase together or separately.

We are still on the look out for more parent helpers so if you are available,

have a valid WWC (Working with Childrens check) and comply with vaccination requirements we would LOVE to have you come along and join in a fun and laughter filled day

(We will even supply a yummy lunch as a thank you!)

We are still looking for raffle donations for our

Father’s Day raffle….

Socks, skincare, sporting goods, chocolates, wine…. all donations are very appreciated and make for more lucky families!

The raffle will be pre-drawn with winners announced prior to the end of school on Friday.

Please have all tickets returned by Wednesday August 31st clearly marked with name, mobile number and home group.

All monies will be donated to Beyond Blue, supporting Men’s mental health.

The MS Readathon continues and we are absolutely loving see all of your creative and amazing ideas being returned to us via our weekly activities. Keep up the amazing reading and remember to participate in the weekly activities to be in the running for some great prizes!

Something that is required of all volunteers and helpers at SFS is a valid Working With Children Check (wwcc).

These checks are very easy to apply for, and free for volunteers.

We love having parent helpers with all of our Parents and Friends events, and the children love seeing their parents at school.

You can go here https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/individuals/applicants/how-to-apply to apply.

You will need to fill in your details (we suggest adding St Francis de Sales Primary School in as your volunteer location), supply them with proof of ID and then verify these in person at an Australia Post outlet.

At the post office they will take your photo for your WWCC card.

Until your card arrives you will be given a slip from the post office that can be used.

Once you have your WWCC complete please ensure you lodge the details with the school through admin@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au
