We celebrated a fun week with a special "Twosday", a bear hunt for our Prep to four students and Picnic Sports preparation.

Students received their diaries this week and they are building the habit to read and record this in their diaries each night. Students should have a book to read at home or be bringing one home to read.

This week the students would like to share what they have been enjoying this year so far -

I have been enjoying Sport and playing dodgeball and calculating the chance of events in Maths. Darcy Shipcott

Our class get raffle tickets for things like bringing our diary with our reading, neat tubs, kindness, organisation and manners. We could win a prize at the end of the week like 15 minutes tech time or outside with a friend, whole class game, jump the line or music conductor. It is a fun way to get a reward. Hughie Price

In SOSE we have made our own island with our own citizens. Writing has been fun because we have done procedures and my favourite piece is about how to train your dog. Talia Price

I have liked doing the leaf designing in art for the Redgum Festival because it has been great exploring new designs you can do on leaves you collect. Fletcher Price

I have been enjoying the chance games in maths like King's Tax and writing our own procedures. My favourite piece of writing was how to eat an Oreo. Tilly Cross

Mrs. B rewards you with a raffle ticket if you do things like read and have it in your diary and helping others or various other things. These go into a box and at the end of the week you can win a prize. Justin Coates

I have enjoyed having a new teacher and sport. We get to play different games like dodgeball and practise for Athletics day. Holly Lewis

We have been writing a fun procedure based on We're going on a bear hunt but we have changed it to be a cat hunt. Mrs. B has a lolly jar for great work. Everybody always plays so nicely together. Mae Northam

I have enjoyed Sport and music. We have practised for the relays and Mrs. B made use pretend to be chickens while doing our relay. In music we have been dancing and learning the ukulele. Noah Weilbaecher

Sport has been great this year. We have played uplevelled dodgeball with targets to hit. In the classroom we have played new games and my favourites are Snapshot and You're Fired! Jack Quinn

In sport I have really liked playing games with my friends and a newer version of dodgeball. I have liked how helpful everyone has been in getting our work done and Mrs. B always makes it fun. Addison Nettleton

Dodgeball has been fun and everyone has been working together to hit the targets and eliminate the other team. Procedure writing was fun especially eating Oreos and writing about how to eat them. Ctayah Roberts

I have really liked using leaves to create an art piece for the redgum festival. I love sport and it has been fun practising for the Picnic sports and Athletics. Lexi Thomas

I liked writing when Mrs. B gave us Oreos and said we needed to write about how to eat them and then test out our procedures on others it was funny when people followed the steps exactly as written. Eva Northam
