Volunteering Opportunity

A Block Gardens 

Community callout to any landscapers/gardening enthusiasts. As a follow up from the KHS working bee that many of you attended, we now have the opportunity to give the courtyard in A Block (in front of the school office) a complete makeover. This is a callout for a landscape gardener/ a gardening enthusiast to assist the P&C Grounds Committee in developing some planting design ideas for this project. Your support would be hugely appreciated by all our school staff and students who will benefit from the improved environment.

Further details:

•  Size of area to be replanted: 2 above ground garden beds measuring 8.5m x 4.5m (see image)
• Existing established plants: Camellias, Japanese Maple and an Azalea
• What’s involved: Meeting on site with the P&C Grounds Committee (quick one hour session) to discuss the design and planting ideas. Help with putting together the plan and depending on your availability, work with our wonderful group of volunteers involved with the working bees and grounds maintenance to bring your ideas to life in the area.
