Living at Lockington

The past few weeks have been action packed at the Boarding House with all the students getting involved in training with their teams at Richmond Junior Footy Club and many involved in practise matches over the weekend. 

Tiger fever has hit with the kids loving the atmosphere of the MCG especially with the Round 1 win over Carlton. There have been many hoarse voices after the excited screaming and cheering throughout the matches!

The students have also watched some AFLW matches, attended the Moomba Festival on the banks of the Yarra, tried their hands at Bare Foot Bowls, ran up the 1000 steps and enjoyed a tour of the Eastern Hill Fire Station.

As we enter the last week of Term 1 I know the kids are really looking forward to spending some quality time with their families over the holidays and refreshing before returning to the cool autumn weather in Melbourne for Term 2!
