Blackburn South Community Bank School Tennis Program

The popular Blackburn South Community Bank School Tennis Program is returning to Holy Saviour School in Term 4 of 2022. This Program will again provide all students at Holy Saviour Primary School with a fully-subsidised weekly Tennis Coaching Program through the generous Sponsorship by the Blackburn South Community Branch of Bendigo Bank. 

Every Thursday, during term 4, each class will have a period of tennis coaching with 3 qualified coaches from the Pro Touch Tennis Academy as part of the School Curriculum. The Program is designed to provide physical exercise, improve hand-eye coordination, teamwork and skill development while learning correct tennis techniques and most importantly having fun.

 Towards the end of the Program, on Thursday 1st December, a family evening is planned at the School when our students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their tennis skills. The Blackburn South Community Branch of the Bendigo Bank has covered all costs of this Program through sponsorship to the Holy Saviour Tennis Club and we gratefully acknowledge their support.

Holy Saviour Tennis Club provides many opportunities for tennis coaching as well as social and competition tennis for people of all ages including mid-week ladies and night tennis competitions (see the Club’s webpage https://play.tennis.com.au/HolySaviourTennisClub).
