                   Monia Ibralic

Hi, my name is Monia and I'm your new Librarian. I am an experienced librarian who has worked in several high schools prior to Auburn High School. I am a graduated Librarian from Curtin University. My cultural background is Serbian and I am fluent in Serbian and Croatian languages. I love hiking and spending time in nature. I also love reading and my favourite book is 'The 25th Hour' by Virgil Gheorghiu. I am passionate about literature, academic research and all the things a library can offer. I am looking forward to meeting you all in the library.

Hello everyone! I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a newly initiated junior science teacher, set to embark on an exciting teaching journey at Auburn High School for Semester 2. I specialise in Biology and Chemistry, having majored in Food Science for my bachelor's degree at The University of Melbourne. I am originally from South Korea, and I moved to New Zealand at the age of 10 and eventually settled in Melbourne 14 years ago. Exploring the wonders of science and sharing my knowledge with students is truly a passion of mine. However, my dedication extends beyond academics. I firmly believe in supporting students' well-being and guiding them to discover their passions and strengths! I find immense joy in helping students uncover where their true passions lie and nurturing their talents. It's an absolute joy to begin my teaching career at this incredible school, and I can't wait to inspire and empower my students in their scientific endeavors while supporting their overall growth and happiness.
