As a student-centred Catholic School that strives daily to be dialogical and respectful to all in our community, our staff encourage the students to ask the ‘BIG’ questions and this week we delighted in the questions asked by two of our Year 1 student's, Eli and Madhi H.
Eli - ‘What does heaven look like?’
Mahdi H - ‘ When God made the world did he make the other planets too?’
Although we can’t always answer them, we glory in their ‘Great Mystery’. We also find that the conversations stimulated by these questions, open the doors to truly living out our OLSH pillar, ‘we are heart people who are faith filled’ and also deepens the dialogue not only about the Catholic tradition but understanding in other faith traditions.
When your child(ren) ask these wonderful deep questions please encourage these curious wondering and please don’t hesitate to pass these on, we love hearing them!
