Kilvington swim champions attend the Victorian State Swimming Team Camp

Congratulations to Annie Steele, Year 9, and Liam Molloy, Year 11,  who were selected to attend the Victorian State Swimming Team Camp from January 9 to 13 at MSAC. 

Under the guidance of Olympic coach Wayne Lawes, and a team of senior coaches from around the State, swimmers were pushed to their limits in the pool and on land, training eight hours a day with gym, pilates, spin classes and icebath therapy. 

Paralympic champion Ellie Cole and Olympic legend Michael Klim also joined them for the week. There are 46 members of the Victorian State Swimming Team (40 able-bodied and six multi-class athletes).

We are extremely proud of Annie and Liam and wish them all the best with their swimming pursuits this coming year.
