2023 Centenary Fair and Open Day

The 2023 Centenary Fair and Open Day is fast approaching on Sat 25 March. We are asking all members of the Kilvington community to consider volunteering in some capacity so it's the best event in 100 years! You know what they say – many hands make light work!

Stall volunteers needed

Working on a stall at the Fair is a hoot! Not only do you get to know your fellow stall volunteers, you also get to interact with the wider community and know that you have contributed to a wonderful occasion.

There are so many options to volunteer and the slots typically go for 90 minutes. Your stall coordinator will guide you on what to do and be there if you need any help. So what are you waiting for?

Click here to sign up for a role that suits you on the day.  All help is very much appreciated.

Jam and Relish Making Day

Parents, carers and extended family are welcome to come along for a social day of cooking jam, relish and chutney for the 2023 Centenary Fair. Senior School students are welcome to come along too provided they are accompanied by a parent.

This is a lovely day with families swapping recipes and tips to produce amazing and delicious products for sale on Fair Day.

Please bring your favourite recipe and ingredients (and jars if you have them). Email your product name and list of ingredients to Bianca Lapins at lapinsb@kilvington.vic.edu.au who will print and provide labels for the jars.

There will be a morning and afternoon session or you can come for the whole day. To assist with the catering, please sign up here.

If you can’t attend on the day, but can contribute ripe fruit and vegetables, sugar or clean glass jars and lids with all labels removed, please donate these to the labelled boxes in Junior School and Main Reception on Friday 17 February. Many thanks in advance.

Calling all crafters

In readiness for the craft stall, Eleri Stephens, our Craft Stall Coordinator is hosting some crafting sessions where ideas are shared and creativity blooms! Click here to sign up!

In addition to this, the craft stall would love to receive any homemade items you have made to sell at the stall.  Please reach out to Eleri if you have any questions at elerim@gmail.com

Donations - secondhand books, board games and puzzles (no toys)

Alan Shanks, the stall holder for secondhand books, games and puzzles, will be available to collect all your great quality secondhand books, board games and puzzles that you no longer use to sell at the upcoming Centenary Fair.

Donations will be available for drop off in front of Dalton Hall on both the morning and afternoon of Wednesday 22 February between 8.00 and 9.00am and 3.00 and 3.30pm. Thanks so much for your support!
