Chess Victoria Zonal Tournament

For the first time in the school’s history, Mordialloc College was privileged to host a Chess Victoria Zonal Tournament on Tuesday 13th September. This event proved particularly popular, with over 70 student participants on the day from seven different schools. Our 15 participants showed that they were not overawed by the occasion, with noteworthy performances from:

As a team, Mordialloc College has performed to an amazing standard, with our best five member team earning a direct spot in the Chess Victoria State Finals held in October! This is an amazing achievement, and congratulations to all participants for their fantastic efforts!
