On Saturday 25 March the Kilvington Parents’ and Friends’ Association (PFA) will hold the 2023 Centenary Fair from 11am to 3pm to celebrate our school turning 100 years old. The Fair will have a 1920s theme and will feature musical bands and performers, rides, farm animals, sporting activities, dunk tank, craft stall, jam and relish stall and a wide range of food options including Devonshire teas, yum cha, BBQ and hot dogs.

In addition to attending the event on the day there are a variety of ways in which Kilvonians can contribute to the Fair.
Jam and relish making day - Sunday 19 February
Alumni are welcome to come along for a social day of cooking jam, relish and chutney for the Fair. Bring your favourite recipe and ingredients (and jars if you have them). There will be a morning and afternoon session or come for the day. All alumni are welcome to attend and you can Sign up here.
Make items to sell at the craft stall
If you are handy with a pair of knitting needles, love crochet, sewing, painting, know the art of earring making or are proficient at any other crafty skill we would love to hear from you. All contributions made to the stall are much appreciated and will contribute towards the PFAs fundraising efforts.
Enter the Kilvonian Victoria Sponge Cake Competition
The Kilvonian Alumni Committee will hold a Victorian Sponge Cake contest at the 2023 Centenary Fair and all past students are welcome to enter. Dust of your cookbooks, get out your whisk and get set to show off your baking prowess.

All cakes will be judged on appearance, quality of bake and taste by a panel of judges. The competition is free to enter, and alumni can submit up to three entries each.
Entries should be named and delivered to Dalton Hall between 10.30am -11.00am on the morning of the fair. The winners will be announced on the main stage and will receive a trophy and the honour of Best Kilvonian Alumni Baker 2023. On your marks, get set…BAKE!
