Congratulations to Blue House and White House on winning the 2022 House Athletics Sports. According to the current shield, this has not occurred in a very long time.
Well done to all students on a wonderful day. There were some wonderful results and a lot of happy faces as they proudly displayed their ribbons.
Thank you to Miss Feeley for organising the day, the staff for all their efforts, the BSC students who assisted with events and the parents who supported the day.
At assembly, next Monday, the age group champions for the 9yo, 10yo, 11yo and 12yo will be presented. Miss Feely is currently putting together the BPS team for the Interschool Sports.
Yesterday we celebrated Harmony Day. Students took part in a variety of activities and also had the opportunity to make special Harmony Day bracelets. Junior School Council also decorated the front of the school with wonderful orange bunting, balloons and chalk drawings.
This Friday night, our Year 2 students and a number of teachers will be taking part in our Year 2 Sleep In. This Sleep In provides an opportunity for students to experience a night away from home, in preparation for their 3/4 camp next year. We hope they all have an amazing night together.
Last week, I emailed all families in regards to our Family Picnic, being held on Wednesday 30th at 5.30pm. We invite all families to come along, meet and chat to other BPS families. Families should bring along with own picnic dinner, and P&F will be selling soft drink, juice and water.
Next Monday to Thursday, teachers will be holding Parent / Teacher interviews. If you are yet to book your interview, please log onto School Interviews - Home and use the code vejty to make a time. If you are unable to attend but wish to still see your child's teacher, please email them to arrange a time.
Our Colour Fun Run is only 3 weeks away. Just a reminder to set up your child's fundraising account and have them raise money and win prizes. The Fun Run will be held on the last day of term. Students are encouraged to bring a white t-shirt to wear.
