Foundation Class
Preps First Sports Day 2022
We had an amazing day last Friday at our whole school house athletics sports. The prep students took part in seven different events including two running races, competing for their colour houses.
A reporter was chosen from the class (Isla) to ask the students questions about their very first Sports Day. Below are some of the answers that were given by the students:
Reporter Isla: What was your favourite event at Sports Day?
Cruiz: My best event was the running races because I got lots of badges.
Bridget: I liked throwing the ball through the hole the best. (target throw)
Taj: My favourite thing was running a lot.
Nate: I liked the throwing the best becasue I was quite good at it.
Scarlett: I tried my best at everything.
Reporter Isla: What was your hardest event at Sports Day?
Eliska: I thought throwing the ball through the hoop was the hardest because it was so far away.
Regan: When we did the basketball one, because I could not get it in. (netball)
Hayley S: The running races were hard becasue they were very long.
Evie: I thought throwing the ball through the hoop was hard but i tried my best.
Reporter Isla: Were you tired after the Sports Day?
Ted: I was tired because I did lots of sports all day.
Zanda: Yes because I did so mucvh running around.
Savannah: No because I kept drinking lots of water.
Reporter Isla: Can you tell me what events you competed in?
Aliza: I did some running and other things.
Hayley G: We did some football and we used a bat.
Judd: I did some sports things all day.
Thank you to everyone that was involved in organising the day, especially Ms Feely. Well done to all the fantastic Prep students for giving their best effort towards every event. I was very proud of you all and I know all your parents that came along to watch you were too.
