Grade 5/6
Grade 5/6 Write Day
Last week saw our Grade 5/6s take part in a "Write Day" where they planned, published and edited a narrative story base on the classes theme. Students worked productively throughout the day, allowing them to choose when to write, eat and organise their day. This created a sense of independency and responsibility with completing their story within the 5 hours of the day. Students enjoyed the experience of that freedom, which produced some excellent writing pieces!
School Sports
Congratulations to all students who participated in the school athletics, we saw some great achievements from students and their resilience to compete as best as they could. Unfortunately, some students could not attend, but we know they would have been cheering everyone on from home. Congratulations to Blue and White Houses on the tie.

Bunnings fundraiser - Canberra Camp
Dear Parents and Guardians,
This year we have successfully secured a Bunning BBQ day to raise money for our students to attend Canberra Camp. This is a great opportunity to raise important and well needed funds to subsidise the cost of the camp. We are on the look out for some volunteers to help out cook the BBQ throughout the day. If you are interested, please contact Mr Ward with your availability, shifts will run for 2 hours from 8am to 4pm.
