Principal's Report

School Uniform

Please ensure children are dressed daily, in full school uniform.  Students who are not in uniform, must provide a note to their classroom teacher and must return to full school uniform as soon as practical.

It is not okay to wear hoodies or apparel from sporting clubs, as a 'near enough' alternative.

Also, we have weather proof jackets, scarves and beanies for school wear, school council approved attire.  Please seek these from any of our providers, including Beleza, Crocker's or Bolton's.  Alternative brands and colours of beanies and scarves should not be worn.

NAPLAN

This week our Year 3 & 5 students are undertaking NAPLAN testing.  The tests undertaken are in key learning areas of the curriculum, we teach to each and every day students attend school.

The test marks a point in time for our students and their knowledge base in the areas of: writing; language conventions; reading and numeracy.

Staff utilise the outcomes and data to both gain triangulated feedback with our own observations and assessment schedule as well as informing our planning and curriculum delivery for future implementation.

Thank you to our school community.

I acknowledge the First Peoples of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
