Wii Gaay - 2021

On Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th of October, Ayden and I attended a Wii Gaay virtual learning hub.  We were joined by students and staff from other schools in our Diocese.   Our focus was on Aboriginal sacred sites. Ayden made different sacred sites out of clay, sticks and various other materials. He made a model of Uluru and a rock shelter out of clay, we focussed on some of our local sacred sites which are the scarred tree at Pine Ridge and the Mooki River.

CWA & Healthy Harold

Each year students at St Joseph's, and all around Australia, get to experience the Life Education Van and 'Healthy Harold.'  This year teachers provided resources virtually and the funding came from generous sponsors who support the Country Women's Association (Quirindi Branch).  We acknowledge and thank the generosity of all the organisations who provided over $5000 to the CWA for programs to run in all Primary Schools across the Liverpool Plains Shire.

Please remember that it is a legal requirement that all absences must be explained through our Compass Portal within 7 days of the absence or students are automatically  marked 'absent unexplained'.  If you are having trouble logging onto Compass, please call the office and we can send your login details through to you via email.

All personal details can be updated in the Compass Portal so if you change address, phone numbers or emails please access the portal and make changes there. 

Safety information - Morning Drop Off

In order to keep all of our students safe, we ask that parents park correctly at the front of the school for children to leave the vehicle.  Please don't pull up along the kerb as this is not safe. It is also not acceptable to pull up in the Bus Zone for children to be dropped off. This is actually illegal and dangerous for your own children as well as for the occupants of the buses that do stop in that zone. 

Even though we can not have visitors past the gate, we are here to help.

• If you need uniform items, please pay for them via Qkr (quicker) and send us an email detailing the item/s and sizes you have ordered.   We will send the items home with your child.
• If you need to collect your child early, please phone us and we will collect your child from class and sign them out on Compass for you.  Your child can then meet you at the gate.

Parent online orders have been temporarily closed by MSP but you will be advised when they reopen as soon as we have a new booking date. 

School Fees

The due date to have your fees up to date is 02 December, 2021, if you cannot have your fees paid by the due date, please contact Pauline to make an arrangement.  We are here to help.
