Week 4 - Gratitude
Week 4 - Gratitude

Rosie Lee for your friendly manner, beautiful smile and impeccable manners show me you are grateful for the opportunities you have at school.  Well done!

Maddie Goninan for the support you give to students and staff whenever you see a need.  Thank you!

Mia Mulligan for always showing gratitude and using good manners.

Week 5 Character Strength Focus

This week our focus is Forgiveness.

At St. Joseph's School, forgiveness is:

  • Apologising when you have done something wrong.
  • Accepting an apology from others.
  • Moving forward and not holding grudges.
  • Giving someone a second chance.
  • Not allowing an unfortunate event to control how you feel for the whole day.

By building our character strengths, we can all work together to say:

People have a better day because I am here as part of the school team!

Each week, we will display our focus for all students to see on our new Living Well, Learning Well display. We look forward to watching our students display forgiveness in all they do this week and encourage families to discuss this week's character strength at home.
