Senior Pathway – The IB Diploma Programme Pathway

Subject selection processes for Year 11 2021 are in progress. Year 10 parents and students have been provided with information on each pathway and the subjects available at the College. Last Wednesday, the Student Leadership Team organised a subject selection ‘chill and chat’ session, where HSC and IB students met with Year 10 students at lunch to discuss each pathway. This was a wonderful opportunity for students to ask questions and hear different perspectives on each pathway and the subjects offered. Year 10 students have also met with staff from each faculty to hear more about the individual subjects on offer, with further sessions to be held in the coming weeks. It has been wonderful to see the growth in our IB students and their willingness to offer guidance and share their experiences with others.

I have also had the opportunity to meet with several parents over the past few weeks to discuss the IB pathway and answer more specific questions about subject selection for their child. This opportunity is still available, and parents are welcome to book an individual appointment with me to discuss the IBDP pathway in more detail.
