SCHOOL COUNCIL ELECTIONS.

SCHOOL COUNCIL NOMINATIONS

School Council Elections will be held on 16th March, 2021.

We currently have 3 parent and 2 school vacancies.

Attached to this newsletter is a Self nomination form for Parent Member Category for any parent who wishes to join our School Council.

If you like to join our School Council please return this form to Jackson School by 23rd February, 2021

Unfortunately due to the COVID Lock Down last Tuesday School Photos were postponed. These will now be taken on Tuesday 20th April, 2021.

We would like to thank all our parents for your patience this year.

Here is a reminder of our drop off and pick-up procedures.

Mornings

Main entry gate will open at 8.40am.
Please do not drop and leave them before this time. There must be a member of staff supervising.
Park within the yellow lines and safely assist your child to get out the car.
The gate to the yard is not opened till 8.45 so if you have a young child who likes to wander please stay with them until 8.45am.
The school bell rings at 9am. Anyone arriving after that should take their child through the front office if there is no longer staff present.

Afternoons

By now most of you will have been given a sign with your child’s name on it (If not see Helena)
Please bring that sign with you every day.
Hold your sign up for Phil to see.
Once you see your child coming please move to the gate.
Show your sign to Lynsey and she will safely hand your child to you.
Please remember sometimes your child takes a little longer to make it over to the waiting room.

We have plans to increase the waiting area for parents by moving the fence so you will all have more room.

We are pleased to announce the camps will be going ahead this year (if all goes well with COVID)

We will be sending a letter out next week. If you would like your child to attend please reply and send in the first payment to the office.
