Week 2 in Trades is powering ahead, confidence growing, creativity flowing, and plenty of action across every workshop.
Where Your Hard Work in Trades Can Take You
Below is a photo of some of our 2025 Year 12 Harvey Ag students who have commenced apprenticeships with Mineral Resources in 2026. The photo was taken at their welcome event on Sunday.
Congratulations to Sebastian Stowe, Sandis Muizarajs, Sean Smith, and Fergus Watson on this fantastic achievement.

Important Notice Regarding Uncollected Student Projects (End of 2025)
As we move into the new academic year and approach the completion of Week 2, the Trades staff are continuing to implement a structured approach to managing workshop space and materials.
To maintain a safe, organised, and productive learning environment, we are no longer able to store or take responsibility for student projects from 2025 that were not collected at the end of last year. This includes several dog kennels, garden seats, and other items.
At the beginning of each year, staff undertake a thorough process to reuse, recycle, or responsibly dispose of unclaimed projects. This ensures that valuable workshop space and materials are available to current students for fully engaging in practical learning experiences.
Students with projects that extend beyond a single academic year, where prior arrangements have been made with their trainer, can be assured that these items will remain securely stored. If you are unsure about the status of your project, please speak with your trainer as soon as possible, as we cannot guarantee items will remain after Week 3.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organised learning environment for everyone.
As always, we hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. A big thank you to our students and staff for their effort and commitment. Have an enjoyable weekend, and we look forward to seeing you next week.
