Armidale Catholic Schools Athletics Carnival

The ACS Primary Athletics Carnival is on today   Tuesday 12 August in Tamworth. Good luck to all our students who have qualified for this event. 

 

Todd Woodbridge Cup - Stage 2 and 3

Good luck to our Stage 2 and Stage 3 Todd Woodbridge Cup tennis teams who will be competing against other teams from Inverell and the surrounding areas on Monday 18 August. These students have put in a huge effort to prepare, giving up their snack breaks to train.

School Sport

Students will continue our house sports competition this week. Students have been allocated a house team and will compete in various team sports throughout the term. Students are encouraged to check the secondary notice board each week for ongoing information regarding the competition.

Armidale Diocesan Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to the following students who participated for the Armidale Diocesan Athletics Carnival last Thursday.

Des Collins, Marlie Moffit, Ruby Selig, Albert Taylor, Oliviah Tonkin, Beau Butcher, Kane Cameron, Xander Gaias, Savannah Golding, Luke Readett, Nate Reynolds, Ollie Smith, Miley Taber, Ella Walford, Madyson Higgins, Kaidhn Holder, Sienna Hunt, Darcy Oakes, Maya Taylor, Levi Bischoff, Jed Langan, Angus Norman and Georgina Taylor.  

 

Some great results with a number of students qualifying for the NSWCCC Athletics Carnival in Sydney later this term.  Well done to Luke Readett who won the 400, 800 and 1500m and set a new diocesan record in the 1500m!

Cochrane Cup Rugby League

Well done to our team who competed against St Paul's Kempsey in Week 3. It was tough competition and we were gracious losers. Thanks to our families who transported our students to Grafton for this match.

Small Schools Country Cup Rugby League 

Good luck to all students who will participate in the Semi-final of the small schools country cup on Monday 25th of August. Holy Trinity boys will be represented in both the U16’s and U14’s and will travel to Coonabarabran for their game.
