Tennis Lessons at FPS

Tennis lessons will again be held on Thursday mornings before school at FPS. The term two program commences Thursday 16th October, from 8:15 8:45am.

 

Enrolment forms can be collected at the office or downloaded below.

 

Merri Creek PS – Come to the School Fete

Merri Creek PS is holding their fete on Saturday 25 October, so come along for a fun-filled family day out!

  • When: Saturday 25 October, 10am – 4pm
  • Where: Merri Creek PD, Fitzroy North
  • Enjoy: Cake stall, box maze, rides, food, coffee, clothes and plants, bar and live bands, face painting, Lego room, giant slide and MORE!

Kew HS – Community Connect Event

Kew High School warmly invites you and your whole family to join them for their Community Connect Event on Friday 28 November.

 

  • When: Friday 28 November, 4 – 8pm
  • Where: Kew High School
  • Enjoy: Live music, delicious food stalls and trucks, face painting, raffles, and fun activities especially for the kids! Kew High’s student leaders will be running engaging games especially designed for primary-aged children.
  • Tours: The Principal will host two school tours during the event — a great way to explore the school and meet the community.
  • Why: As well as celebrating community, this event also serves as a fundraiser to install climate control in classrooms.

Positive Parenting – Group Online Sessions

This group supports parents to build strategies to help their children; manage their emotions, build emotional resilience, build self-esteem and independence, develop problem solving skills, develop life and communication skills, and build healthy relationships.

The Yarra Voices – Youth Choir

The Yarra Voices is a not-for-profit community youth choir based in North Fitzroy. The organisation has auditions coming up in November.

Fairfield Cricket Club, a family friendly club located in Fairfield, is seeking players for their junior cricket program.

Alphington UnitedCricket Club, located at Alphington Park is again running their Junior Blast cricket program.

 

Northcote City Football Club – Seeking Female Players

Northcote City Football Club is inviting players to trial for its expanded Women & Girls Program for the 2026 season. The club is committed to developing a comprehensive female player pathway, from junior community teams through to a Senior Women's Program.

 

The club is currently in the application process for the Community Premier League (CPL), this, OR Community A Grade will form their inaugural high-performance stream. In addition to the high-performance pathway, they warmly invite all girls, from absolute beginners to experienced players, to join our Community Stream teams for the 2026 season. This inclusive program is the perfect place to jump into football, providing a supportive, fun, and developmental environment for all skill levels.
