Dear Sacred Heart Community,
Keeping Our Community in Our Prayers
We extend our sincere sympathy and prayers to members of our school community who have recently experienced the loss of loved ones. May they find comfort, strength, and peace in the love and support of family, friends, and our faith community.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4)
Sacred Heart Prayer
Loving Jesus,
Today we gather as a school community to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart.
We thank You for the gift of Your love; a love that is kind, compassionate, forgiving, and welcoming to all.
Help us to follow Your example by caring for one another, showing kindness in our words and actions, and reaching out to those who may need a friend.
May our hearts be filled with courage to do what is right, generosity to serve others, and faith to trust in You each day.
Bless our students, families, staff, and parish community. May Sacred Heart Primary School always be a place where Your love is seen, shared, and celebrated.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart
The Feast of the Sacred Heart celebrates the love of Jesus for all people. The Sacred Heart is a symbol of His compassion, kindness, mercy, and forgiveness.
As a school community, this special feast reminds us to follow Jesus' example by showing love, care, and respect for others. It is an opportunity to reflect on how we can share God's love through our words and actions each day. ❤️
Sacred Heart Feast Day - This Sunday
A reminder that this Sunday, 14 June, we will celebrate our Sacred Heart Feast Day as a parish and school community.
Families and students are warmly invited to join us for 10.30am Mass, followed by a community celebration at: Bridge Darebin 220 High Street, Preston VIC 3072
This is a wonderful opportunity to come together in faith and celebrate the spirit of our Sacred Heart community.
Father Aloysious has invited our school banner to be part of the Mass procession, and we would love to have a strong representation of Sacred Heart students and families present on this special occasion. We look forward to celebrating with those who are able to attend.
⭐Sacred Heart Feast Day & Talent Show🎤
On Monday 15 June, students will celebrate our Sacred Heart Feast Day through prayer, activities, and community celebrations.
Families are warmly invited to join us at 2.15pm in the Multipurpose Room for our Sacred Heart Talent Show, where students will showcase their talents through music, dance, singing, and other performances. Our talented students have been practising hard and are excited to share their performances with our school community.
We look forward to celebrating this special day together and hope to see many families at the Talent Show as we support, encourage, and celebrate our talented students.
Winter Wonderland School Holiday Program at Sacred Heart❄️
A reminder to families that Sacred Heart OSHC will be offering a Winter Wonderland School Holiday Program during the upcoming school holidays.
Children can attend for one or multiple days, with flexible booking options available. The program will provide a range of fun, engaging activities in a safe and welcoming environment where children can play, create, explore, and connect with friends.
As this is a trial program, we would love to see strong enrolment numbers to support the continuation and growth of holiday care opportunities for our Sacred Heart community.
We encourage families to consider this wonderful opportunity for their children these holidays.
