Term 4 Inform and Empower

Our Inform & Empower online incursions will begin next week, continuing our commitment to helping students develop the skills and confidence to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.

Throughout Term 4, students will explore a range of age-appropriate topics, including recognising uncomfortable situations online, kindness and digital advertising, online safety settings, identifying red flags, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

We have included the Term 4 parent and carer information sheets for each year level, outlining the key learning and providing some helpful conversation starters.

We encourage all families to take a few moments to explore these resources and continue the conversations at home. By working together, we can help our children develop safe, positive and healthy digital habits.

STEAM Club – Wednesday Lunchtimes

Our Wednesday lunchtime STEAM Club continues to be a huge hit with students and has remained a popular activity throughout the year!

This term, we're excited to have Will from Year 4 taking the initiative to introduce a student-led Coding Club. Using ScratchJr, students can explore and develop their coding skills, with Will working alongside Miss Rachel to provide technical support, share his knowledge and help teach his peers. It's wonderful to see student agency and leadership in action!

Alongside the Coding Club, students can continue to enjoy a range of hands-on STEAM experiences. LEGO remains a firm favourite, with students encouraged to use their creativity, imagination and teamwork to build whatever they can dream up, without the pressure of a formal competition.

Our Air Toobz have also been a popular addition, providing plenty of opportunities for experimentation, exploration and playful problem-solving.

STEAM Club is all about giving students the freedom to create, collaborate, explore new ideas and, most importantly, have fun!
