We are looking for family holiday photos taken in destinations such as:

  • Gold Coast, Queensland
  • Bali
  • Japan
  • Africa
  • Italy
  • America

If your family has travelled to any of these places and you would not mind “starring” in our school production, we would love for you to share your favourite holiday photo with us.

Please forward your photo to Mrs Milan at fmilan@scgreenvale.catholic.edu.au.

Thank you for helping us bring our production to life!

Kind regards,

Mrs Milan

School Production – Character Costumes and Rehearsals

It’s going to be an exciting term as our talented students and staff work together to rehearse and prepare our production to present to the school community at Clocktower Centre school on Wednesday 2 September (Cast A) and Thursday 3 September (Cast B).

It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to build confidence, develop communication and performance skills, strengthen teamwork and creativity, and experience the excitement of performing on stage in a professional theatre in front of a live audience.

Students have chosen or have been allocated their characters. Students with speaking roles will receive a character line card to take home. We encourage these students to practise their lines regularly, using clear voice projection, expression, appropriate hand gestures and purposeful body movement, to bring their character to life.

Costume ideas have been selected to be simple and easy to source. We encourage families to first look through wardrobes at home or ask family and friends if they have suitable items that can be borrowed.

Please ensure that:

  • All costume items are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
  • Costumes are ready by Week 7 (Monday 24 August).
  • Students wear closed-toe, non-slip shoes to ensure their safety while performing.

Thank you for your support as we work together to create a successful and unforgettable production experience for our students and school community.

If you have any questions about your child’s costume or role, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.
