Gaga Pit - opening soon!
The Gaga Pit will be in operation shortly and the students are very excited to get in there any try it out! The Gaga Pit was made possible from the hard work of the MPS community in the Eastland 'Shop for Your Schools' Campaign, which resulted in us winning $7,000 (2nd place). The remaining contribution needed was provided by the Parents and Friends Association, using money from some of our 2024 fundraising efforts. Stay tuned for other exciting projects around the school made possible through fundraising.
Disco
Thank you to everyone who attended the disco and also the volunteers who helped in the lead up and on the night. We raised approx. $1,000 for the school and by all accounts everyone had a blast!
Fathers Day / Special Person Stall
The Father’s/Special Person Day stall was held last week on Tuesday 27th August. Students enjoyed buying a special something for those who are important to them. All students were respectful and well mannered. The stall raised $400 to go towards our 2024 fundraising. Special thanks to Monique Mafrici for all the hard work preparing and running the stall on Tuesday, and for the rest of the volunteers who assisted in many ways your dedication is greatly appreciated.
Colour Run
Save the date - Thursday 24th October 2.30pm - MPS school grounds.
We are busy planning the Colour Fun Run - it's a highly anticipated event on the MPS calendar!
Volunteers - If you're available to help setup from 1.30pm or would like to help throw colour at one of the colour stations (2.30-3.30pm) please text me on 0414889153. The event heavily relies on volunteers to make it a success.

Our parents and friends association is run solely by a small group of parent/carer volunteers. We love creating events that enhance the students’ school experience while raising funds for the school to help support additional resources for the students.
We would love to see some new faces join the committee and volunteer at events, and we could really use the extra help! If you find yourself wanting to connect with other parents in the school community and have some fun please feel free to come along to our next meeting or chat to one of us.
