Library News

Welcome to the last edition for Term 1.
With the Easter holidays approaching, students have been enthusiastically borrowing extra books for the break, which is always fantastic to see! This gives you the option of trying a few different texts over the two weeks. Reading outside of school also helps form good a habit and maintain your literacy skills, passion for reading, empathy, mental health, problem-solving and perspective, so why wouldn’t you? 😀
5T recently donated some fabulous book suggestion posters displayed around the computers which give children ideas for books they might like to try next. We have some of these. If you can’t find a title in Search or on shelf, you can submit a Book Recommendation/browse our New Titles rack. The collection is always growing thanks to your smashing suggestions! 😊
I also encourage you to try different books on display (see Reading Lists tab in top-left corner of Library Search).

Unwanted books?
Don’t know what to do?
Put them in the street library!
