NDIS Navigator

Hello everyone!

Hope you all enjoyed the lovely weather over the weekend and are settling back into school routines as smoothly as possible.

This week I have a few brief updates for you, the first being for our families of senior secondary students. We will be holding Post School Provider Family Tours in August and September. Family of any senior secondary students are welcome to join for these tours to get a sense of the options that may be suited to your children when they finish school. Please see the flyer below: 

The second update is about NDIS changes to Short Term Accommodation billing. Where previously there has been a 'fixed daily rate', fees will now be divided into accommodation costs for the participant, accommodation costs for their supports, and support worker hours. This shouldn't impact participants directly, rather just for invoicing purposes.

Lastly, the Department of Education is seeking feedback regarding the NDIS Navigator role. If you have a few minutes and would like to share your thoughts about my role, it would be much appreciated if you could please scan the QR code on the poster below and fill out a short survey:
