Welcome to Our New Staff Members

I am delighted to introduce the new members who have joined our school community this year. Each of these individuals brings valuable experience, fresh perspectives, and a strong commitment to contributing to the learning and wellbeing of our students. We are excited to see the positive impact they will have across the College.

We are pleased to welcome Grainne Temple, who joins us in the Penola Centre as the learning diversity leader for Years 8 and 9, supporting students in their learning and wellbeing. In the Mathematics faculty, Adam Bulman and Constantina Syros bring great enthusiasm and expertise. In Food Technology, we welcome Sonia Buxton, who joins the faculty bringing her experience and passion for practical, hands‑on learning.

Our Science faculty welcomes two new teachers this year. Justin Ordona joins the department with a passion for science education, and Justin Eke joins us as our new Head of Junior Science, bringing leadership and deep curriculum knowledge to the role. Paul Roberts also joins the College as the Year 8 assistant leader working with the Year 8 team, supporting both pastoral and academic programs. In the creative and practical subjects, Karen Erasmus joins our Art and CDM team, contributing her skills to the Visual Arts program.

Our Education Support team has also grown significantly. Indika Gamage joins us as an Accountant in the Finance area, while Louise Godden, Shehani Fernando, Naomi Whimpey, and Elizabeth Coughlin join our Learning Diversity team as Learning Support Officers within the Penola Centre. We also welcome Huey Ng, who joins the College as our new tutoring coordinator supporting students across year levels. In the ICT area, Anthony Danchenko strengthens our technology team, while Ami Collings supports our languages staff and students within the LOTE department.

We are delighted to welcome Rob Bonnici to our Leadership Team as the new Deputy Principal – Staff. He brings a depth of leadership experience and a strong commitment to staff wellbeing, and we are excited for the positive contribution he will make to our college community.

Veronica Van Wyk joins us as our new Receptionist, becoming a key point of connection for our community. Our Library team is strengthened by Jennifer Tuvey, who joins us as our new Library Technician. In Study Hall, Kerrie Dodds joins us as the Study Hall Supervisor, supporting students with organisation and learning routines.

Our RE Centre is also joined by Stan Simanto and Joshua Goh, who will support students through their involvement in Oblate Youth program. In the sports area, Franki Kromidellis joins us as our AFL Trainee, contributing to the development of our sports programs. We also welcome Sonia Becker, who joins the Print Room team, and Martin Lee, who becomes part of our Music Department, supporting our music programs.

We are incredibly grateful to our mentors and current staff for their warm support in helping our new colleagues settle into the College.

We also warmly welcome back our returning staff members: Christina Rebbechi, Ayesha Comerford, and Yavanna Dyson. Their continued contribution is greatly valued.

I hope you all enjoy getting to know each of these staff members as the year unfolds and look forward to the positive energy they bring to our community.
