Dr Anne Webster visit

On Friday, 6th February, Dalet welcomed our federal MP, Dr Anne Webster, for a presentation on parliamentary processes and how laws are made for our Civics class. They prepared lots of juicy questions to ask and we had a rousing question time with Anne answering questions about her thoughts on gun laws, bike paths, F1 drivers and what inspired her to get into politics. They also asked about her dreams for 2026 and what makes her nervous. Anne also had them practice debating and voting on a law about whether pineapple should be illegal on pizza! At the conclusion, Declan and Eden presented Dr Webster with a thank-you speech and card from the class and we took a group photo (you may have spotted this in her social platforms recently).
