Travel Training

Travel Training aims to help those student's who need extra assistance and support making journeys safe when travelling by them self. The students strive being able to be a part of a team with the guidance of teachers to gain knowledge and an understanding of how public transport works.

Travel Training can be delivered on a group basis, in order to meet the needs and abilities of the student's.

This week the students  walked down to Ballam/Cranbourne Road to catch the

bus down to Frankston Railway Station where they hopped on a train to Cheltenham Station and then a bus to the DFO Factory outlet store in Mentone.

When travelling on public transport trains and buses ensure hand rails are used.  While waiting for the bus or train make sure they have stopped completely before boarding and watch your step when getting on.

Below are some photos of their experience.
