Recess Clubs

We have range of clubs available for our students during last recess most days in the library. They range from colouring, to chess and to games! Monday's and Wednesday's are our colouring clubs, Tuesdays are our Chess clubs, and Thursdays are games clubs, where we have uno, trouble, guess who, snakes and ladders - just to name a few!

Mr. Gooding is also running a Rubik's cube club on Tuesday's at last recess, and Wednesday's at lunchtime recess in the BER. We have many students who are loving the Rubik's cube club, as there are many different types of cubes - including a phantom cube that uses heat from your hands to unlock the colours!

These clubs provide an opportunity for students to make connections with other students around the school, which they might not have typically connected with. They allow for students to build on their social skills, as well as aid in the development of school values, like resilience. These clubs aim to build communication and conflict resolution skills within our students and to support the building of respectful relationships.

Tissues!

With us going into the colder weather, and lots of colds going around, each classroom is after some more tissue boxes. Any boxes that can be donated to the classrooms would be greatly appreciated.
