Bunnings and IDHS Visit

Our Senior students were delighted to welcome residents from Inglewood and District Health Services (IDHS), along with Lizz from Bunnings, for a wonderful crafting session with our students on June 3rd. 

The session was filled with creativity, laughter, and meaningful connection as students and residents worked side by side to create their crafts. It was heartwarming to see conversations flowing so naturally, with students showing kindness, patience, and genuine interest in getting to know their new friends.

These shared experiences are incredibly valuable, helping to build a strong sense of community and connection across generations. Our students gained so much from the opportunity to listen, learn, and engage with the residents, while also sharing their own stories and ideas.

A big thank you to the residents of IDHS and to Lizz from Bunnings for making the session so enjoyable. We look forward to many more opportunities to connect in the future!
