En français, les élèves apprennent à écrire un narratif personnel. Ils écrivent un court texte sur comment ils vont quelque part, basé sur l’histoire « Comment y aller ». Ensuite, ils commenceront l’invention de leur propre véhicule!
En lecture, les élèves continuent à explorer l’histoire « Comment y aller ». Les enfants commencent aussi à pratiquer la pièce de théâtre afin de la présenter devant la classe !
En grammaire, les élèves commencent à apprendre ce qu’est un déterminant, un nom et un verbe.
Les enfants continuent également à explorer l’histoire de Fitzroy en découvrant l’histoire du quartier et de l’école, en apprenant davantage sur le Peuple Wurundjeri et en découvrant les noms des lieux importants du quartier.
English Version
In French, students are learning how to write a personal narrative. They are writing a short text about how they get somewhere, based on the story “Comment y aller”. Next students will be inventing their own vehicles!
In reading, students continue to explore the story “Comment y aller”. Children have also begun practising the play so they can perform it in front of the class!
In grammar, students are beginning to learn about determiners, nouns and verbs.
Students are also continuing to explore the history of Fitzroy by learning about the history of the suburb and the school, learning more about the Wurundjeri People, and discovering the names of important places in the local area.
