Deputy Principal

Dear Sacred Heart Community,

                     $ 1, 105.55 ! ! !

That's how much was raised yesterday for the people of Nepal! This wonderful community shone again in the spring sunshine and did what it always does and has always done...reach out to those in need. Big thankyous to the following people; to our Nepalese students, Aisha, Syon and Rayzon for being part of the organising and money collecting, to the school leaders, Cody, Natalie, Layla and Brenton for serving others, to Glenn, Marcus, Renae, Cettina and Tatiana for helping with the cooking of the snags for all to enjoy and to you the parents, for getting involved and donating. Thankyou very much indeed!!

MACSSIS Surveys ~ thanks for your help!

A big thankyou to all three major stakeholders of our school; staff, parents and students for completing the MACSSIS surveys and providing the school with feedback on how we can get better. As these surveys are not compulsory, I was really happy with our completion rates across the board; Staff 81%, Students 86% and Parents 54% (MACS average for parents is 28%!). The data we will receive from you all will help shape our school for 2027 and beyond.

Learning Support Officers ~                             Francesca Greco-Maccarone

We finish Term 3 with a nod to the matriarch of LSO's, the wonderful Francesca, who has been a valuable member of our team for such a long time. And the photo says it all; armed with resources and work to do with her little groups, always with a calmness and a beautiful smile on her face. Francesca has worked across all year levels and has been a magnificent support to students and teachers alike. Thanks for your dedication, hard work and gentle nature, Francesca. Sacred Heart is a much better place with you in it!

Have a great holiday everyone!

See you in a fortnight!

Regards,

Marty
