Foundation News

This week, Foundation students became mini scientists during a hands-on incursion exploring the properties of materials and chemical change. At the dry tables, students investigated scientific toys and everyday objects made from materials like metal, wood, and plastic - predicting, testing, and comparing their properties such as magnetism and flexibility. 

At the wet tables, the excitement continued as students launched rockets and made slime while observing physical and chemical changes in action. Throughout the session, students practised scientific thinking by making observations, discussing their findings, and drawing conclusions.
