On Thursday 11th September a small group of interested year 9 students travelled to Swinburne Wantirna to participate in a TAFE taster day in nursing, allied health and childcare. Students participated in workshops learning hands on what some aspects of each area can entail. Our students actively participated in everything on offer from heart rate and oxygen level monitors, CPR and defibrillators, PPE and wheel chair control as well as play dough making and rope doll making. They also hooked up Mr Smith to an impromptu electrocardiograph test! An amazing day for our students!
