Why is it important that I mark my child attendance on the UEducateUs platform?

Logging your child’s attendance or submitting absence notes on uEducateUs is critical because it ensures student safety, regulatory compliance, and streamlined communication between you and the school. 

When you log an absence directly through the platform, it immediately updates the school's digital records, preventing administrative gaps and making sure your child is accounted for. 

What does my school do with this data?

When you log an absence or attendance note on uEducateUs, the school updates the digital class rolls, fulfills legal record-keeping requirements, and syncs the data into official administrative systems. 

• Updates the Daily Roll: The school's administration and teachers instantly see your submitted note attached to your child's profile, changing an unexplained absence status to an explained one. 
• All attendance records are securely stored in accordance with Department policy requirements. Attendance data is retained for compliance and auditing purposes including attendance audit table identifying any changes made to a students record after initial roll marking.
