Arts & Technology Exhibition 2025
On Tuesday evening, November 18, the opening of the Arts & Technology Exhibition was held in the Nalleijerring Performance Centre.
Those attending enjoyed catering by our VET Cookery students and staff led by Yasemin Ziada all while taking in the extraordinary talent and diverse works of this year’s Arts & Technology students.
As with past years the event was exceptionally well attended by students, parents and the wider community reinforcing how positively the arts are regarded at Eltham High School.
The local artist we invited to officially opened our exhibition this year was Jessie Pittard. Jessie is a passionate ceramicist and printmaker and an Eltham High School alumni opening our exhibition this year. Jessie is celebrated local artist renowned for her remarkable portfolio and extensive expertise in pottery. Jessie is an enthusiastic mentor and champion for youth, having earned recognition as an instructor at Montsalvat as part of their Clay Talk program for young artisans.
We were entertained by Year 10 student Blake McCluskey (Year 10, Toner House), who perform two songs. Thank you, Blake for a captivating and confident performance. We look forward to seeing what you can achieve in your future years.
Our Product Design Fashion and Textiles students enhanced our evening with an energetic Fashion Parade. Showcasing hand-made garments and innovative designs integrating sustainable fabric choices and practices. Well done all!
