Eltham High School Shines at School Sport Victoria Volleyball State Finals

Eltham High School once again demonstrated its excellence in volleyball at the School Sport Victoria Volleyball State Finals, delivering an outstanding set of results across both the Year 7 and Year 8 competitions. With eight state titles on offer in 2025, Eltham High School claimed an impressive four—cementing our place as Victoria’s most successful sporting program.

The Year 8 Girls were a standout. They join our intermediate girls, senior girls and senior boys as 2025 State Champions. In a dominant display of teamwork, skill, and resilience their consistent performances throughout the day showcased exceptional composure under pressure, ultimately earning them a well-deserved state victory.

Our Year 8 Boys also performed exceptionally well, advancing through the rounds and earning a place in the semi finals. Their determination and competitive spirit was evident in every match, and they should be immensely proud of their achievement.

The Year 7 Boys continued the strong showing for Eltham High School, also reaching the semi final stage after a series of hard-fought matches. For such a young group, their growth and commitment was clear to see, signalling a bright future for the program.

With four state titles claimed across the year, Eltham High School not only showcased its depth of talent, but also the dedication of our student-athletes and coaching staff. The results reflect countless hours of training, teamwork, and the strong culture of excellence within our volleyball community.
