Wellbeing

On Friday 21st March, we celebrated Harmony Day and Ride2School Day, with a strong focus on our SWPBS value of the week: Inclusivity – We always show empathy to our peers and teachers.
Harmony Day is a time to celebrate the diversity of our school community and ensure that everyone feels valued and respected. Inclusivity starts with empathy—by listening, learning, and embracing different cultures, we create a stronger and more connected school environment.
As we move into next week, our focus will shift to Respect – We always respect the boundaries and personal space of other people. This is an important reminder that showing respect helps everyone feel safe and comfortable at school.
To continue these conversations at home, here are some questions to ask your child:
- What did you learn about a different culture today?
- How did you show inclusivity and empathy to your classmates?
- Why is it important to respect other people’s personal space and boundaries?
- What is one way we can make sure everyone feels welcome at school?
