Community Update

Head of the River

It was amazing to witness the Head of the River event come together, and we are in awe of the 100 plus volunteers who worked so hard in that heat. The community spirit of Loreto College was on full display and the positive feedback from outside organisations, schools, and spectators has been overwhelming. The effort put in to organising the day by our Rowing Committee, volunteers, parents, coaches, and staff was exceptional. A huge thank you to everyone who helped out both in the lead-up and on the day - this event wouldn’t have been possible without your support. It was a proud moment for the College, and I believe it’s fair to say that the 15-year break between hosting duties feels just right! There were so many people who contributed, and we are deeply grateful to each and every one who gave up their time. Below is just a sample list of our registered volunteers:

Acacias Ball Wine Wall

Only two weeks left until the Acacias Ball, and the Events and Community office is buzzing with excitement! A huge thank you to everyone for rallying behind this event and showing your incredible support. On the night, we'll be hosting a Wine Wall, and we'd be so appreciative of any bottle donations valued at $20 or more. If you're able to contribute, please drop your donations off at the Senior School Reception for collection. We truly appreciate your generosity!

Acacias Ball Raffle

There are still plenty of raffle tickets available with some excellent prizes as listed below. Even if you are unable to attend, you are still able to purchase raffle tickets here.

Raffle Ticket details: 1 for $20, or 3 for $50

Winners will be drawn at the Acacias Ball and if the winners are not at the event, they will be notified by email.

First Prize

Adelaide Oval “Stay, Climb, Dine” package for 2 people.

This comprises a night’s accommodation for 2 people at the Oval Hotel in a Parkland King Room, a Roof Climb for 2 people and a $100 voucher for Bespoke Restaurant.
