Discussing Your Child's Progress

At any time, parents are able to chat with their child's class teacher about their child's progress. Parents can email teachers directly to arrange a time to get together.

Baby News

Congratulations to Adeline (Foundation) on the arrival of her new baby sister, Florence. We wish Chris and Caitlin all the best at this time of celebration.

A Lesson Worth Watching!

Recently we had the wonderful opportunity to welcome Christie-Lee Hansberry from Playberry Laser to Pilgrim School.

Chritie-Lee led an incredible professional development session for our teaching staff. She walked our teachers through exactly how a Playberry Laser lesson comes to life - from start to finish. We also welcomed Bill Hansberry who was watching Christie for future tips on Professional Development too.

A huge thank you to Christie-Lee for her expertise and energy, and an even bigger thank you to our amazing students - you made us incredibly proud!

Royal Adelaide Show Competitions

At Pilgrim School, we love finding ways for our students to shine - whether that's on the sporting field, in choir, through academic competitions, or in the creative arts. We're pleased to share another exciting opportunity for our students to flourish and represent our school community.

This year, Pilgrim School will be facilitating student entries into the Junior Art Craft & Design, Junior Photography, and Junior Textiles competitions at the Royal Adelaide Show.

If your child has a passion for drawing, craft, photography, or textiles, we'd love to see them take part. Please note that all entries will need to be prepared outside of school lesson time, as no class time will be allocated for this purpose.

To register your child's interest, please complete the form below:

Royal Adelaide Show Competition Entries

Entry fee: $5.30 per item, payable via the Qkr! app under "Adelaide Show Entry".

For details on categories and entry requirements, please see the links below:

Junior Art Craft & Design, Junior Photography, Junior Textiles

A few important details to note:

  • Maximum of 3 entries per student; entry choices cannot be changed once submitted
  • Entry choices must be submitted via Jotform by Friday 26th June
  • Final items are to be delivered to the School Front Office between Monday 10th – Friday 14th August.

Please be aware that the Royal Adelaide Show has specific drop-off times for competition entries, and late items cannot be accepted.

We look forward to seeing the creativity and talent our students bring to this wonderful showcase!

Please see our most recent Musical News for information about costumes and hair requirements for your child.

Dress Rehearsal

There will be a whole school musical dress rehearsal at Futures Church on Wednesday 1st July. All students will travel by bus to the venue and parent consent will be required for this day. Please see the Compass Events notification you should have received to give consent for your child to attend and for further information regarding what your child needs to wear and bring.

*NB All Year 6 families are asked to please complete two Dress Rehearsal consents (for the 30th June and 1st July) using Compass Events.

Coffee Connections

With our Choir Eisteddfod performance and predicted poor weather, we have decided to cancel our planned Coffee Connections next Wednesday 10th June (Week 7).

We look forward to connecting with families again next term!

Calm and Confident Kids Seminar

Pilgrim School recently hosted Kirrilie Smout presenting a seminar about Calm and Confident Kids. The evening was well attended and very helpful for families wanting to learn about anxiety and how to support children with a tendency towards worry or anxiety.

Thank you to those who attended and to Pilgrim P&F for initiating this seminar through the successful application for a Parents in Education grant.
